Elevation Youth Summit is for middle school and high school children ages 11-18.
-
What do summit tickets include?
Summit tickets include lunch (if purchased by May 13th), highly-interactive activities and workshops, keynote presentations, goodie bags with pen, notebook, and other surprises, and admission to the evening dance. We’re pulling out all the stops to provide an inspiring and FUN experience.
-
Will food be available?
Lunch is included for each teen or tween with a youth summit ticket if purchased by May 13th. This is the deadline for our catering order and cannot be adjusted. Gluten-free, vegetarian, and standard lunch options are available. Please select your child’s preference at checkout when purchasing tickets for the summit.
Youth tickets purchased after May 13th do not include lunch and these youth will be responsible for feeding themselves.
Foods such as pizza, nachos, hotdogs, and drinks will also be available for purchase at concessions in the vendor hall during the lunch hour.
We ask that teens who drive please not leave the summit to grab lunch offsite. This will allow them to fully enjoy the youth summit experience and socialize with others during the lunch hour while remaining safe throughout the day.
The Davis Conference Center prohibits outside food and drink.
-
When do the summit doors open and close?
Registration opens for entry at 8:30 AM and the workshop portion of the day ends at 5:30 PM. Youth will have two hours to leave the conference center to grab dinner and get ready for the evening dance. For youth who do not wish to leave for dinner, pizza will be provided. Doors will reopen at 7:30 PM for the evening dance and close at 10:30 PM.
-
Where should my child go when they get to the summit and what do they need to bring?
The Elevation Youth Summit is being held in combination with the Education Empowerment Conference. Both events will be on the same day, in the same place (different wings of the building), and have the same check-in process.
Youth and adults should go to the registration desk in the Sky Lobby to check in. After check-in, youth will split from their parent(s) for the remainder of the day.
If you are attending the Education Empowerment Conference while your child is attending the Elevation Youth Summit, please bring the Eventbrite QR code provided to you at checkout for each ticket. You can bring printed tickets or go paperless by showing us the QR codes from your phone. Either method will work!
If your child is attending alone, they will need to bring a printed ticket or show us the QR code from their phone. -
Will my child know what to do without me?
Yes! At registration, youth will be assigned a color group and directed to staff and youth leaders who will help them get to where they need to go throughout the summit. Assigned leaders will move with your child’s group from workshop to workshop, help them grab their lunch, and stay on schedule.
Parents attending the Education Empowerment Conference at the same time will be just down the hallway. You’re welcome to check in on your kiddos whenever you’d like, however, we encourage you to fully immerse yourself in the adult experience so your child can do the same!
Emergency contact information will be on file for each youth.
